Bio
Joe Fox has been called "one of the funniest stand up comics" and nicest guys in the business by his peers.
His versatile standup style mixed with physical comedy, intellectual wordplay and nostalgic references, has
sent his career in many directions.
In addition to appearing at world-renowned venues like "The Improv",
Joe performed overseas for American military troops stationed in
Japan and Africa, and has appeared on two seasons of BET’s hit show
"Comic View". For the past year, Fox has been co-hosting
one of the hottest urban comedy shows in Los Angeles: "Showtime
on Sunset", at the world-famous Comedy Store on Sunset. Whether
serving as co-creator and host of his own comedy show (Liquid Lungz),
featuring for comedian Tony Rock or headlining at comedy clubs across
the country, Joe Fox is delivering a brand of international comedy
that audiences are hysterically enjoying.
Hailing from the Midwest, Fox earned his Bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma, and soon after, found his
groove on the comedy stages in Dallas, TX. Bill Cosby once said about being a comedian, “I started out as a child.”
Fox attributes his own comedic foundation to the many misadventures he experienced
in his childhood. After years of fearing belts, cute girls with over-protective older sisters, and T-ball games, Joe
cultivated a laughable explanation to many of life’s un-laughable situations.
Fox currently lives in Los Angeles where he continues to develop new comedy
material and prepare for film and television projects.
